Smoketree Massage and Apothecary combines individual healing modalities with natural remedies to encourage advanced healing for our community. We began with a focus on massage and quickly discovered we could help our clients foster a more holistic approach to their health with carefully sourced tinctures, salves, oils, teas and CBD products. Body Work
We believe that most of us live outside of our bodies, primarily in our minds and sometimes emotions. As therapists, we are the motivators and catalysts who provide clients with the opportunity to drop into their bodies and gain self-awareness. This interdependent relationship is where the true healing begins.
Deep Tissue Massage
Designed to remove severe tension, deep tissue massage is a technique used to relieve both muscles and connective tissue. It helps to improve range of motion and heal injuries below the surface.
Swedish Massage
Swedish massage uses firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension and create other health benefits. It is a classic massage that will ease your stress and allow you to slip into a calm state of relaxation.
Integrated Sports Massage
A form of bodywork geared towards participants in athletics. It is used to help prevent injuries, to prepare the body for athletic activity and maintain it in optimal condition, and to help athletes recover from workouts and injuries.
Myofascial Release Massage
Myofascial release is a soft tissue therapy for the treatment of skeletal muscle immobility and pain. The method engages the myofascial tissue and loads it with constant force until release occurs. To achieve this, practitioners can use knuckles, elbows, or other tools to slowly stretch the restricted fascia. The practitioner moves slowly through the layers of the fascia until the deep tissues are reached.
Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy assists the body’s natural ability to balance, regulate, heal and maintain itself by the correct use of essential oils. We use 100 percent essential oil from Sensible Life. *Aromatherapy can be added to any massage.
CBD Medicinal
This treatment incorporates a variety of CBD products, such as: CBD salves, sprays, liniments that have the ability to be anti-inflammatory, anti-anxiety, analgesic (pain relieving), and help overall relaxation of the nervous system. All our CBD products are from the best sources and certified
companies.
Catalyst Blend Massage Cream
Purchase a 4oz jar of our hand made massage cream to be used during your massage and take the rest home with you. A thick massage lotion for soft skin and deep tension relief. Ingredients: Jojoba oil infused with Chamomile, Echinacea, Augustifolia, Pedicularis, Spearmint, Calendula, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Beeswax, Essential Oils of Orange, Lemongrass and Cedarwood.
Reiki
Reiki is based on the belief that we are all made of energy, and the technique involves a therapist placing his or her hands on or above the patient’s body to channel this energy. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words: Rei which translates to "universal" and Ki which translates into “life force energy”. An apothecary is, and has for centuries, been a pillar of the community as a trusted sanctuary for “old school medicine,” also known as the people’s medicine, i.e., healing tonics, elixirs and salves made from herbs and plants. The apothecarist is well-versed in the healing constituents of natural ingredients and expertly blends them together to meet the unique and specific needs of the client. This is medicine tailored to the individual and addresses the root or underlying problems and source of discomfort.

Natural Remedies
We are proud to offer our clients hand-selected, responsibly sourced Natural Remedies. We make many of our own products with a focused, conscience intention of healing. We have conducted extensive, heartfelt research into our ingredients and the products that we procure from others so that we can provide the cleanest, most potent products available on the market.
Tinctures, Tonics, Salves, CBD:
We wild craft and make our own! Organic: Face creams, face wash, facial toner, bath soaks, sun block, etc. We carry and support other small companies products that have been SMA approved!. Meaning they are sustainable/ non GMO/ Fairtrade.
Essential Oils:
Our Essential oils come from Scentsible Life, by Andrea Shalley. The oils are %100 percent pure from the highest quality farms Andrea has been working with the oils for over 35 years.
Teas:
Our teas come from Oshala Farm, a certified-organic, family-fun farm in southern Oregon run by Elise and Jeff Higley. We chose to offer these loose-leaf teas based on Elise and Jeff’s commitment to quality, consistency and deep caring. Their philosophy states, “For us it's about the moments in life when we can quiet down enough to listen to the land. We know that it's those moments that you can taste and feel in the herbs.”
CBD Products:
It’s hard to find quality CBD. We have found several companies over the years that we have discovered have the highest quality CBD/ hemp oil. Willow Creek Springs has made a point to come visit our shop and talk to us about their CBD process/products. They have been making CBD for over 25 years. We trust them!
